I have read the Daily 5 and CAFE books and I'm curious about how people plan for the first days/weeks of school. I've noticed the plan outlined in the Daily 5 book for the first day of school actually differs slightly from the daily plans listed in the back of the book. For someone who is new to this, I would like to know which one to follow. I understand it is flexible and I have to do what works for my class and schedule. But, I'm still looking for input on the best way to make sure I'm covering everything. Thanks!
