What is your favorite book to teach the comprehension strategy "Use main idea and supporting details to determine importance"?

Tess’s Tree by Jess M. Brallier
The Art Lesson by Tomie dePaola
The Recess Queen by Alexis O’Neill
The Other Side by Jacqueline Woodson
The Great Kapok Tree by Lynne Cherry
Snowflake Bentley by Jacqueline Briggs Martin

I personally love "The Great Kapok Tree" and "Walk On!" for this strategy

Thanks so much! I did check the Interactive CAFE but was looking for Lit Lessons and Book Looks - didn't think to check the Assessment Student Learning section. Will do so in the future! Thanks again for the speedy reply!

I tried The Great Kapok Tree today and it is a perfect book for this comprehension strategy. My Grade 3 students really "got it"! Thanks again!
